About the role
The Signmitra player is the last and most visible step in every customer workflow. You will improve how screens download, cache, schedule and play content, especially when networks or devices behave unpredictably.
What you will do
- Build and maintain Android TV player features for images, video and app-based slide content.
- Improve startup speed, playback continuity, offline caching, network recovery and device health reporting.
- Debug field issues using logs, reproducible test cases and device-level diagnostics.
- Collaborate with backend and editor engineers on publishing, playlist and synchronization contracts.
- Add automated checks and release safeguards for supported player devices.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of Android development with strong Kotlin or Java skills.
- Hands-on experience with media playback, lifecycle management, storage, networking and background work.
- Ability to diagnose failures on real devices and build robust behavior for intermittent connectivity.
- Experience shipping and maintaining production Android applications with tests and monitoring.
- Android TV, Fire TV, Media3/ExoPlayer or WebView experience is valuable.
